The boyhood home of President Dwight D. Eisenhower in Abilene, Kansas was occupied by the family from 1898-1946. When the Mother of six Eisenhower sons died in 1946, the home and adjacent grounds were deeded to the Eisenhower Foundation. A museum, library and chapel are located on the grounds of the Eisenhower Center.
