The Ditto-Leach House
Wamego, Kansas
The historical Leach House was built approximately 1890 by Louis B. Leach, an early Wamego businessman. It received a major renovation in 1988 by the Dittos. An example of 19th century Sicilian architecture with Victorian touches makes the home unique in small town rural Kansas. Features of the home include 21 gables and 70 windows including 14 exquisite examples of early period leaded-stained glass.
