The Lingo Livery Stable - Old Prairie Town

Lingo Livery Stable

Built in 1870, this livery stable was originally located in eastern Shawnee County on the Oregon Trail. It was dismantled piece by piece with each stone being numbered. The building was then moved and rebuilt in the town square of Old Prairie Town at Ward-Meade Historic Site. The stable contains antique tools and displays about the Oregon trail. www.topeka.org
