Missouri not only has a vast agricultural output, but they also have a strong manufacturing industry. Missouri is also home to plentiful natural resources. There are enormous quantities of limestone. There is also mining for coal, lead, Portland cement and crushed stone. Missouri is the leading producer in lead of all the other states. They also rank first for the production of lime.
